Arrival and departure
Rooms are available from 4pm. Check out should be before 10am.
Bookings
These must be made on our website Payment is required to confirm your booking by debit or credit card or bank transfer. We are unable to accept AMEX or Diners Club cards. No under 25s – and we cannot accept parties of any kind. Unfortunately, no dogs or other pets are permitted to stay.
Tariffs
Room tariffs are displayed on the rooms page and includes breakfast.
Cancellation policy
We accept cancellations with a month’s notice with a full refund; under a month if we can re-let your room we will refund half of your booking costs; one week or under no refunds. All refunds are subject to an admin fee. Guests must take responsibility for illness, cancelled or delayed flights etc via their insurance.
Parking
There is plentiful free parking on our gated driveway. Please close the gate to protect our dog. Please note that Ploversfield Ltd cannot accept responsibility for your car or its contents.
Breakfast
An English and continental breakfast is served between 8am and 9am. Please complete the breakfast form the night before to avoid any delays. If you wish to check out earlier please let us know the night before so we can prepare breakfast for you without delay.
Partial Room Service
This is provided daily to empty bins , refresh tea trays and dry towels.
Accessibility
Ploversfield has a flat parking area and entrance, but 10 steps to bedrooms 1 and 2, bedroom 3 is on the ground floor. There are also steps down to the pool room for our indoor pool and sauna.
Unfortunately we cannot accept children due to Health and Safety issues and the pool.
Pool and sauna
Open 7am – 10 am and 5 pm – 9 pm. The sauna is an infrared one with info available. The pool is 13m X 4m and 3ft–6ft deep. Please no ‘bombing’ or running and please show consideration for other guests. The pool will not be heated in winter, but with certain exceptions, but could still be used. Ploversfield Limited cannot accept responsibility for accidents or worse. There is no lifeguard therefore guests must take responsibility for their own safety when using the sauna and pool.
No smoking or vaping. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property.
Anyone caught smoking will incur an extra cleaning charge and the booking cancelled with no refund. We have smoke alarms in all our rooms and if these are activated because of smoking in the rooms guests will be asked to leave and there will be no refund.
Other
Plates, cutlery and glasses can be provided on request in the Breakfast Room for guests wishing to eat an evening takeaway. Food and alcohol is not permitted in any of the bedrooms. In the covered area in our courtyard is a fridge for guest use. Our courtyard can also be used for guest al fresco dining – please ask us for plates and etc. Each room has a tea/coffee tray with more choices available in the breakfast room. We can also put fresh milk in the courtyard fridge. Guests please close all windows when out in case of rain or wind. Only human waste and toilet paper may go down the toilet – anything else will damage the drainage – including personal sanitary products, paper towels, wet wipes, etc.
Covid 19
We are triple covid vaccinated and expect anyone booking to be covid vaccinated. If you wish to book and have medical reasons not to have been vaccinated, then please contact us to explain the situation.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours: please could guests be quiet between 22:00 and 08:00.
